Cooking Mama: PETA Is Trying Too Hard Edition

So, Thanksgiving is upon you Americans in just a few days now (27th, right?) and while the holiday normally brings up memories of family members, delicious food and awkward dinner conversations like Uncle Ronnie’s leg boils, there’s always the very persistant dilemma of ’should we be killing turkeys to eat them’. Well, obviously, PETA says “nuuuuu plz don’t” and with that plea comes a flash game released not long ago.

You know, it’s always fun to see people trying too hard. I’ll give credit where credit is due: the game is really well done. What it lacks in broken-english voiceovers it makes up for by having nearly the same presentation of the real game. Of course, I could just be the arrogant ass and make fun of how they represent preparing a turkey. Apparently, Thanksgiving is celebrated by plucking feathers from a bird that looks like it was found along the interstate and then cooking it with its organs still drooping out, not to mention making Mama look like an escaped mental patient. Hopefully no one takes a cue from the flash game on how to actually prepare a turkey or else we’ll all be contracting some really messed up diseases over the next week or two.  D’oh!

Just remember Mama, you know what happens when you try and dilute your product…

Bawww. Sorry, I just had to.
